Guys, I can't customize modes after upgrading f/ware.
When I set the settings for one modes, the other just follow exactly and if I change it, it will affect the other modes. :(

Anyone experiencing this?

Does the firmware upgrade cause any errors to the equalizer? I read somewhere that the equalizer goes for a toss when connected with headphones with the new upgrade. Please confirm guys as i would like to upgrade if there are no disadvantages in the new firmware.

An annoying thing after firmware upgrade is the internet radio now has adverts on the top when choosing channels. its very annoying!!! what are these nokia people thinking? as if people will click the f@£$%^& adverts.

I agree with you on the protective cap. It should have been done like the caps on the usb and memory card ports.

My E63 intermittently freezes up and reboots when using internet radio.
I have updated to the latest v200 firmware and still having the same issue.

To me there's no point in putting a crappy camera, as it will just cause frustration. There are cheap phones will better camera thatn that of the E63.

Putting maps on the phone without GPS receiver is pointless, some say you still can use it if you have a bluetooth receiver, which means another expense, and another gadget you have to carry.

Build quality is ok, but my el cheapo nokia 2630's build quality feels much much better.

I am thinking in making the firmware upgrade but since no changelog is available I am wondering if you managed to fine what's new in this version. Also, I fell my phone a little slow, especially when entering Contacts or entering menu. Does this behavior improve after firmware upgrade ? What other improvements did you observed ?

Nope. Its not fixed. I was specific when I said N95 onwards. N95 was S60 V3 FP1. The E65 is S60 V3. You've got my N80, check when you have the time. This bug does not exist on that. Nokia formerly have not had this bug.

Unable to connect to the Youtube application (The one downloaded from m.youtube.com) via Wi Fi. With 3G connectivity, the application works fine.

yup.. it is.. obvious.. in E71 (i borrowed one) it does not lag when I type as fast as I do in E63

After upgrading, noticed that the backlight intermittenly goes off after about a second while the handset is not in idle mode.

Spacebar lag, yeah. But thats evident only when you're typing messages lightning quick. Am not sure though, will let you know if I notice its glaringly obvious?

Excellent review. The new Nokia email client is now available for several other older nokia models. visit mail.nokia.com. It works very well on my e61i.

Currently it is on trial and free (except for your gprs connection), but as per the site, in future it will depend on some operator plans.

It seems to work in similar fashion to blackberry - push mode etc, but with added features and better interface.
